About It
This is a database of 37 characters in the novel Things
Fall Apart. However, due to some of the character's vague or insignificant information, I didn't put all the characters you
could find in the book. All these character summaries are done by me without help from any websites, such as sparknotes, for
a school project.
You may or may not have noticed the "city" part
in the layout. However, I picked it because I thought it was somewhat ironic, not because I have no idea what I'm talking
about. For those of you who have not read the book, don't read on because the rest contains some spoilers.
As
some of you know, Things Fall Apart takes place in Nigeria with the Ibo people around the time of colonization. When Umuofia
gets visited by the "white men", most of Eastern and Northern Africa had already been colonized for several years. This particular
story is about a man known as Okonkwo and his life in the tribe he lives in.
